I read this lovely book in one sitting. I used sticky notes to return to meaningful scriptures and parts of the book that are particularly relevant to me. Lauren’s personal journey is a testimony to God’s faithfulness and her ability to deal with truth and adversity head on. A Daughter First speaks to the pain of abandonment, generational curses and the power of God to change even the most painful aspects of negative life circumstances. Worth comes from knowing you are valuable to God and this book shouts Hallelujah anyway!
